SCOPE Survey Launched Today!

Williston Basin School District #7 is conducting a district-wide survey to gather feedback on our communication efforts. All staff, parents/guardians, and community members are encouraged to participate in this 15-minute anonymous online survey, which will close on September 26.

Conducted by an independent team from the National School Public Relations Association (

NSPRA), this survey (SCOPE: School Communication Performance Evaluation) will help us improve our communication practices and better connect with our community. The SCOPE survey was first conducted in February 2023 as part of our NSPRA Communication Audit, and we will now be utilizing it annually.

Your insights are crucial in shaping how we communicate in the future. All responses will be kept anonymous, so we encourage you to provide open and honest feedback.

SCOPE Survey Results will be shared with stakeholders in early November.

Recent 5-Item Stakeholder Survey:
To measure our progress in achieving the desired outcomes outlined in Board Governance Operational Expectation 3 - Treatment of Community Stakeholders, a brief 5-item survey was recently provided to key stakeholders. This survey also helped us assess our starting point for the current school year. The full survey results and accompanying data can be reviewed on our Community Feedback page

Survey Results and Resulting Changes
The results of the recent 5-item survey, along with the findings from the ongoing SCOPE survey, will help guide enhancements to our current policies and practices. We are committed to sharing these updates with both staff and the community later this school year as we work to improve communication and stakeholder engagement.
