An education at WBSD #7 will support our student's intellectual, social, and emotional growth. We will provide students with an innovative curriculum supported by various co-curricular activities. The outcome of our efforts will empower students to make a difference in their community and world.

District Quick View

Located in northwestern North Dakota, Williston is a hub for the oil industry in the Bakken formation. Williston is an economically diverse, fast-growing, and dynamic community with a population of approximately 30,000 people [2020 Census].

In 2022, the two existing school districts merged to create Williston Basin School District #7.

Our District currently consists of:

Pre-K School Program: Future Coyotes Pre-K Center
7 Elementary Schools for Grades K-4: Garden Valley, Hagan, Lewis & Clark, McVay, Missouri Ridge (also includes Grade 5), Rickard, and Wilkinson.
1 Middle School for grades 5-8:
Williston Middle School Central Campus
2 High Schools: Del Easton Alternative High School and Williston High School
