Unofficial Results of WBSDS7 School Board Election 
 
Williston, N.D., (June 12, 2024) – The Williston Basin School District #7 is pleased to announce the unofficial results of the June 11, 2024 school board election. 
 
The following candidates have been unofficially elected to the school board:

• Cory Swint

• Heather Wheeler

• Joseph Barsh

 
With a total of 1774 ballots, the unofficial vote count for candidates is as follows: 
At Large Candidates (2 positions available):
Cory Swint - 1286
Heather Wheeler - 788
Laura Ann Teekell  - 356
Autumn Marmon - 307             
RaeAnne Rathbun - 231
Kate Brunelle-Vestal (write-in) - 231
 
Out of City Limits (1 position available):
Joseph Barsh - 1230
Melanie Petersen - 468
 
The election will be canvassed on June 24, 2024, at which time the official results will be declared, finalizing the election.
