WILLISTON BASIN SCHOOL DISTRICT #7 SCHOOL BOND REFERENDUM PASSES Williston, N.D. (April 17, 2024) The Williston Basin School District #7 is pleased to announce the successful passage of the school bond referendum, as indicated by the unofficial tally from the vote held on April 17th, 2024. With 66% "yes" votes, the bond's unofficial approval surpassed the necessary 60% super majority.
The unofficial vote count is as follows: A total of 3,607 votes were tallied in tonight's unofficial count.
The canvassing of the election to verify and finalize the official results is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th at 5:00 PM in the District Office board room. The proposed $35 million bond aims to provide funding for the construction and equipping of one new elementary school, the purchase of land for the new school, and improvements to existing school facilities.
