Our Future Coyotes PreK Center aims to extend education to low-income families because we believe every child deserves access to quality education.

Program Overview

First Day of School: 9/3/24

Hours: Monday - Friday from 9:00AM - 2:00PM

Nutrition: 2 snacks and lunch will be offered.

Class Sizes: 20 students per room with one teacher and one paraprofessional

Recess: Indoor playground equipment for gross motor development

Academics

Future Coyotes PreK program focuses on academic development through a combination of state-of-the art assessment tools, innovative teaching methodologies, and evidence-based practices, including:

  • Utilization of the First Gold Assessment Tool provided by the State of North Dakota

  • Teaching Strategies

  • Integration of Conscious Discipline

  • Seeds of Learning

  • Implementation of evidence-based practices in early learning literacy

Enrollment/Target Population

In order to ensure inclusivity and equitable access, our enrollment has specific target populations. Enrollment is determined through a lottery system. Below are the criteria:

  • 50% of the population must have a disability or be at $31,800 (60% SMI) or less yearly income.

  • A lottery will be completed for enrollment.

    1. The first part of the lottery will be income-based.

    2. Second part will be for employees.

    3. Third part will be open to the general public.

The waitlist is full for the 2024-2025 School Year. Registration has closed.

Funding

There is no cost to participate in the Future Coyotes PreK Program.

Future Coyotes PreK is funded by two state grants and the WBSD#7.
