We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jason Germundson will be recommended for Board consideration and approval at the school board meeting on March 25, 2024 as the new Assistant Superintendent at Williston Basin School District #7. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗻: Dr. Germundson brings with him a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as the Principal of Williston High School for the last 10 years and as Assistant Principal for the preceding decade. With a total of 27 years in education, Dr. Germundson's expertise encompasses curriculum development, budget management, community outreach, regulatory compliance, long-range facility planning, and much more. As a native of Williston and a proud graduate of Williston High School and Williston State College, Dr. Germundson is deeply rooted in our community. He is a devoted family man, married to his wife Jodi for 31 years, and is the proud parent of five sons, one daughter, and two grandchildren. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Dr. Germundson's tenure as Principal of Williston High School and his previous roles demonstrate his commitment to academic excellence and student success. His leadership has been instrumental in leading Williston High School, implementing innovative instructional strategies, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
