The Williston Coyotes’ boys cross country team returned to the top spot in the Class A team ranks on Saturday, October 23 during the 2021 NDHSAA Class A Cross Country State Meet held at Parkhurst Recreation Area in Jamestown.
Williston won the Class A Boys team state title for the first time since 2018. The Coyotes scored 72 as a team edging Grand Forks Red River by five points.
The Coyotes had three runners – Ivan Askim (2nd, 15:44.19), Fynn Krenz (4th, 15:52.34) and Ethan Moe (8th, 16:06.83) – earn All-State finishes.
