Description:  This course will introduce the student to the basics of 2D Art.  Students will work with a variety of different art making tools and learn the basic art techniques.

Advanced Studio Art

Description:  Sculpture focuses on creating three-dimensional works. Students typically work with several media (such as clay, ceramics, wood, metals, textiles, and so on), but some courses may focus on only one medium. 

Graphic Design

Description:  This course introduces students to graphic design as a form of visual communication through the use of type, image, form, and color.  Projects will explore design processes that include the use of text as well as visual imagery.  Students will use computers and industry standard software to create creative graphic design art pieces.
