8th Grade Takes over the School!

Eighth grade students participated in the annual Eighth Grade Takeover event on Tuesday, March 7th. This annual event is a student centered day, where the student goes through the real life experience of applying, interviewing, and fulfilling specific job duties. 

Once a student receives a job, it is their responsibility to plan along side the teacher for a lesson that meets the school and district requirements. Almost every staff in the building, from Cooks and Custodians, to Principals and Coaches had an 8th grader paired with them to take over their duties for the day. 

Takeover is one of the many projects planned and organized by our student Ambassadors.
